Registration for “Adapting to Aging” Project
Relief’s individual self-management support service
Terms and conditions
- Living with anxiety, depression, and/or bipolar disorder (with or without diagnosis).
- Participants must be 60 years of age or older.
- Willingness to engage in an ongoing personalized self-management process virtually.
- Commit to participating in six (6) individual virtual topic sessions, with the first session focusing on Adapting to Aging. The topic‑focused sessions will take place every two weeks.
- Commit to a follow‑up call the week following each individual session.
- All sessions will be held at the same reserved time slot.
- Have an email address (used for communication with Relief, confirmation of session dates, and access to the virtual platform).
- Have a certain level of technological fluency to access psychoeducational content via the online platform.
- Commit to completing the feedback form at the end of the process.
Subsidized Rate
- The subsidized rate of $180 is payable at the time of registration.
- If a withdrawal is made at least 72 business hours before the first session, a full refund will be issued.
- Within 72 business hours prior to the first session, or once the process has begun, no refunds will be issued.
Cancellation Policy
- A maximum of one (1) session may be cancelled during the process. Beyond this limit, the service will be suspended and treated as a withdrawal.
- If a session is cancelled at least 72 working hours before the scheduled time, it may be rescheduled if the mental health worker's availability allows.
- If a session is cancelled with less than 72 working hours' notice, it cannot be rescheduled.
- A delay of more than 10 minutes will be considered an absence with less than 72 working hours' notice.
